Thursday night's show at Soundlab was so upbeat and danceable, its a wonder how they could have the energy to do it night after night. Even after spending the day listening to the few tracks they have on their myspace page, I was still unprepared for how great the show was.  All eight members had an incredible amount of energy (and talent) on stage..... especially the dynamic cowbell playing by the keys player, Jamie. The Constellations are an impressive combination of southern gritty rock, soul, funk and hip hop that should not be missed. Their album, Southern Gothic, isn't released until June 22 but make sure you listen to their tracks on myspace. So note to anyone going to Bonnaroo, Lollapolla, or Camp Bisco... do not miss them! And if you get the chance to talk to them after the show definitely ask about some of their stories from touring with Snoop Dogg.
