Small Talk with London Vs New York

I recently caught up with Stephen Goss of London vs New York. He was kind enough to inform me thier summer plans, introduce a new member, and suggest some new tunes.

buffaBLOG:  Haven't seen you guys in a while. whats new?
LvsNY: We are grown folk now and have been adjusting our sound… making sure what we are playing is still interesting to us. We have a new bassist.  Chase Middaugh.  He also plays guitar in Novelist, and in mutus liber (the split with Vowels is pretty rad).  He has been a breath of fresh air.  Before Chase joined, we recorded a four song EP, with Dwane at Sessions.  Those songs are up and available for free download on our Facebook page.  Oh, and we are playing June 15th at Soundlab with JEFF the Brotherhood, tickets at  supernautbooking.com.

buffaBLOG: Any big summer plans?
LvsNY: We are working on a ton of new songs.  We'll be recording them at some point soon.  Nick claims he is going to be working on a farm in Italy this summer and says the band will continue to work on tunes “thru tha Internet.”  But I am not sure about this one; I have trouble envisioning Nick Gordon wrangling sheep on some Italian mountainside.  But who am I to crush his dreams.

buffaBLOG: What is some new music we should be listening to?
LvsNY: 'New' is relative, but as far as Buffalo bands, The Fucking Hotlights KILL, The Beta Cloud, and this local thrash metal band, Inerds.  Oh, and Graceland by Paul Simon (Hey, I never really heard to it until recently, and now I can’t stop listening to it).

buffaBLOG: who wins? london or new york?
LvsNY: Not sure, but this question doesn't.

touche LvsNY, touche
