A couple days ago we received an email from our friends Son of the Sun regarding the release of their new album 'The Happy Loss'. First the stuff we already knew. The Album release is scheduled for Friday June 18nd at Nietzsche's with special guest Handsome Jack. Now the new stuff.  There are 3 different and innovative ways to pay. 5 dollars gets you into the show. 10 dollars gets you in and gets you the CD. and finally, and my personal favorite; 15 dollars gets you in, gets you the Vinyl AND the digital download! Why don't all bands do this!? Oh yeah there will be a 3 dollar magic hat draft special all night. And if all of this wasn't enough SoS also went the philanthropic route and are going to offer a deal where if you bring a can of food to donate to the WNY food bank, you automatically are entered into a raffle to win a music and merchandise package from the bands, Magic Hat beer, and a tour poster from Hero Design Studio!
