Tonight at Asbury Hall at Babeville The Swell Season (Glen Hansard & Markéta Irglová) are performing. If you have not had the fortunate experience of watching the movie "Once" then you have 7.5 hours to watch it and get to Asbury Hall to see it in real life. The movie is about two singer/songwriters who meet on the streets of Dublin and realize the great music they make together and spend the rest of the movie recording an album. Its fantastic and so is the music. Like most Irishmen, Glen Hansard has the kind of voice that makes girls melt. He sings with such passion and intensity it truly translates the meaning behind the music to the listener. I'm very excited for this show tonight... especially because they're latest setlist included them covering one of my all time favorite songs, Van Morrison's Into the Mystic. Check it out below.
