Hip hop blues beatnik G Love returns to Lafayette square tonight. His latest record Long Way Down came courtesy of Jack Johnson's Bushfire Records. Its going to be a groovy set to dance along to with a taste cold beverage in your hand. Opening up the festivities are indie rock band Rogue Wave, who are also on Bushfire Records. You might remember Rogue Wave from this Zune commercial from a few years back. This time around though they will be touring in support of their latest effort Permalight which is more electronic, a la Postal Service, and was crafted while front dude Zach Rogue was in the hospital with a painful back injury.
