Listen up Buffalo.  Instrumental Indie/electronic group Tortoise is making their way to the Queen City for a very special intimate club appearance.  Tortoise were some of the first pioneers to incorporate Indie rock with electronic, dub, and many other forms of experimental music.  They recently released their first album since 2004, entiltled "Beacons of Ancestorship" and it doesn't sound like they've missed a beat.  Tortoise will be performing at Soundlab on September 2nd.  Doors at 9pm, show at 10pm, tickets are $18 in advance and $20 day of.  Do yourself a favor and be there!
