Since Tom Petty will be returning this weekend for yet another Darien Lake performance, and VW will be stopping by Rochester in early September, this weeks uncovered cover is a shout out to both bands. Vampire Weekend's island vibe sounds great and rather fitting for the opening sitar-like rift to the song "Don't Come Around Here No More". The end of the song also sounds spectacular and hopefully cheers you up during this typical midweek workday.  Now wouldn't it be something if Tom Petty covers a VW song Saturday!?
