Carl Broemel, Guitarist of Indie Rock Gods My Morning Jacket and now side project adventurer, released his first solo album a few weeks ago entitled All Birds Say. If you are expecting to hear new MMJ sound in this effort you will be sadly mistaken. Broemel has gone back to his Indie roots and has comprised an album of soft melodies with strong passionate feelings. His website has described this blissfully curious album as, "It's in these fractured moments that the listener bears witness to thoughtful contemplation that give rise to epiphanies on larger themes."  This album is solid from start to finish and a great way to ease in to relaxation after a not so wonderful day.
