Tonight, indie rock collective Broken Social Scene will be playing at The Town Ballroom. Think Sonic Youth meets Yo La Tengo meets Dinosaur Jr. with an occasional horn section. Formed in Toronto in 1999, Broken Social Scene have been a revolving cast of Canadian indie rock artists including members of Metric, Stars, Apostle of Hustle, and Feist.  I just hope the stage can hold everyone in the band which can range from 6-11 musicians. Unless you want to make the trip to Toronto, where they play often, make sure you check them out in what is a rare Buffalo appearance. Tickets are $24 advance, $28 day of and doors open at 7:00. Get there early to check out opener Sea and Cake too.
