Real life guitar hero's, Built to Spill, return to Buffalo. Tonight, Doug Martsch and Co, will bring their rift laden, face melting, hook heavy version of rock n roll to the Town Ballroom at 9 and tickets are only 22 bucks. Like a northern version of My Morning Jacket, Built to Spill is all about the guitar ballad. They bring a brand of excellently structured songs layered with guitars, drums, and bass, with a squeaky crooner's voice on the top. Opening up for the show is Revolt Revolt, and Buffalo's very own, math-pop indie rock band, The Stay Lows. Make sure you go tonight or you might have to wait another 3 years for them to return!
