Electro-gloom dance rock Xiu Xiu will be returning tonight to Mohawk Place. This time, they might even play! Months ago when Xiu Xiu was last here, the show was inexplicably canceled causing some fans to create the 'Get Xiu Xiu to play a FREE SHOW in Buffalo' facebook fan page. Well, whether or not the grassroots effort worked, tonight the band is back in the b-lo. The show won't be free, but for fans of the band its been a long time coming. Also on the bill is the eccentric scatter rock of Deerhoof. With interesting electronic noises, upbeat percussion, and weird little girl vocals by semi-front woman Satomi Matsuzaki the band is a lot of different things mashed up into one colorful music machine.
