Earlier today while driving in my car, I heard an excellent version of Ryan Adams covering the Grateful Dead's  Bird Song.  This of course brought me back to a few weeks ago, when Built to Spill played a very rocking and interesting cover of The Grateful Dead's Ripple at The Town Ballroom. Although i couldn't find a good MP3 or YouTube rip of the BTS version, I did come across a few other grate (get it) versions of the song, including this take by Jane's Addiction! I remember in my younger days having a Jane's Addiction/Porno for Pyros/Perry Ferrell best of compilation CD that had this cover on it.
