Five years ago, famous music producer Rick Rubin suggested to Weezer that they record a cover of Toni Braxton's unforgettable hit "Unbreak My Heart". And now with their upcoming release of their rarities album, Death to False Metal (which you can preview here) we finally get to hear it. It seems like Weezer would perform this song as a joke, but as you can tell with the quality of the recording they took it very seriously. Its good, but Rivers Cuomo voice really has nothing on Toni so I've included the original for your listening pleasure. Thus completes this weeks post of Uncovered Covers, see ya next week.
