Our second installment of From the Vault has always held a special place in my heart. This Smashing Pumpkins show from 96 was my 2nd concert ever and one of the last times I ever visited the AUD. The Pumpkins were HUGE at the time and almost everyone in my grade had a copy of 'Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness'. Not only was the show amazing, I even convinced my dad to buy me one of those black, long sleeved Zero shirts, making me the coolest kid in school for next two weeks! I don't remember a lot about the show, but I do remember Garbage opened and it was one of the best school nights from 6th grade. click here to listen to the whole thing.
