New Years celebrations mean friends, partying, champagne, balloons and confetti.  Which makes it only fitting to have The Flaming Lips for our new years picking up the slack for MTV,  they are the kings of balloon dropping and confetti shooting out of canons.  If you have ever attended their live concerts you know exactly how insane their stage antics are.  Enjoy this video and Happy New Year everyone.
