Pumping out thoughtful and energetic punkish indie rock in the vein of Death Cab For Cutie and Dashboard Confessional, Chasing Static is a group of Buffalo dudes who place a high priority on making good music while drinking even better beer. Following them will be The Social Scientists; these guys released their first CD, Born at Sea, last June and since then have competed in Artvoice's BOOM, while regularly gracing stages around town.
