I was going to post this cover a while ago when I first heard the band Dale Earnhardt Jr. Jr.'s take on the classic. Aside from having a really cool name, the band plays an honest version that stays close to the original with an added digital psychedelic twinge toward the end that makes it their own. After doing 5 minutes of research it became clear that A LOT of bands have covered this particular Beach Boys song. David Bowie turns it into an orchestral crooner love ballad, Bullion turn it into a soulful RJD2-like hip hop number, PDF Format make it a song fit for Gameboy. Even Rivers Cuomo recently posted a video of him playing the song on piano. Seems like everyone has something to say about God Only Knows. Take a listen
