Last week, James Murphy, put the finishing touches on his music project LCD Soundsystem and called it a day. While Murphy will move on to bigger and better things, we are not quite ready to let LCD go. Earlier this year, Franz Ferdinand, announced that they would be releasing a cover album of their 2009 LP Tonight on Record Store Day. Yesterday, one track was released early by Domino Records, as part of their Record Store Day sampler. The track I speak of is LCD Soundsystem's seven minute take on Franz Ferdinands' "Live Alone". While LCD may be no more, you can enjoy this tune below, and continue to hold on to LCD Soundsystem's greatness.
