At 6:00pm today, the Rapture will occur and mankind as we know it will cease to exist, at least that is what Harold Camping, the President of the Family Radio Christian Network, claims. Camping believes that today would be our day of judgement and that the Rapture would spread over time zones, so at least those on the west coast will see it coming. I have never been one to buy into these end of the world prophecies, but have you looked outside this morning? Elmwood Avenue was in a complete fog, and now that I think about it, maybe this endless rain we have been having means something other than Buffalo has crummy weather. Although, I am currently in the suburbs as I write this and it is actually quite pleasant. Maybe Amherst is off limits for the end of days.
Regardless of what happens today, we wanted to make a little playlist to enjoy just in case this whole Rapture thing really does go down. So whether you are going to take the day to reflect on your life, attempt to cross one or two more activities off your bucket list before its too late, or simply enjoy a Saturday, take a moment to listen to the songs we put together in honor of the possible end of mankind. I have always said that Sigur Ros is the last band I want to hear before I go.... Enjoy.
