It’s a great time to be a Flaming Lips’ fan. What with them producing listening parties, covering Dark Side of the Moon (both live and in the studio), and working with the likes of Henry Rollins and Jimmy Page, Wayne Coyne and the boys have been putting out new music every month in 2011. Yesterday Coyne tweeted that an EP collaboration with psychedelic DJ Prefuse 73 (the same Prefuse 73 that bailed on a Soundlab set) would coming out in the evening. Some vinyl editions of the EP were released in Oklahoma City, and, of course, the tracks made it to the web. Given the direction the Lips’ are going, just about everything they do is worth checking out, and these four tracks are no exception.

They worked with Jimmy Page? That's excellent. I just now heard of these guys and I can't wait to hear more of their music.
