Local garage-rockers Cosmic Shakedown, newly formed at the end of last year, will be playing Mohawk Place tonight, and by the looks of their Facebook page, they'll have a new CD available for your listening pleasure. The band describes itself thus: "Cosmic Shakedown is blues rock band with many variables that give you a taste of all the flavors of rock and roll." Joining them will be The Found - a band that boasts a similar bluesy and garage-type feel while also adding some grimy, Deep Purple-sounding keys. Also on the showbill are The Storyville Players and The Merchants. The night will begin at 10 p.m.
