Indie rock invades Chippewa tonight when 90's influenced alternative rockers Bearhunter, whiskey infused bluesy Americana rock band Handsome Jack, and AM radio retro-rockers Son of the Sun take over Noir Lounge (88 W Chippewa). All three bands rank pretty high in our books, each cracking a spot on our Best Buffalo Bands of 2010 list. If you ever needed a crash course in the Buffalo music scene don't miss out on this one. Son of the Sun also recently released a fantastic new EP titled My Biggest Mistake, which you should probably pick up. It will be a night of ripped denim and broken guitar strings, and for only 3 bucks, easily the best deal in town.
