buffaBLOG Rooftop Party Artist Preview: Sea Snake Vs.

The second band performing at buffaBLOG's Broadway Market Rooftop Extravaganza Party this Saturday is Sea Snake Vs.  Little is known about this mysterious trio, although stories of their formation have slowly been circling.  From what we have been able to dig up on the band, rumor has it that just over a year ago, on July 27th, 2010, a small, sparsely attended funeral was held for a man who was both born and died in Buffalo, but who spent most of his life elsewhere. The identity of the man remains unknown.  Many believe he lived his life as a high profile musician, who while at the top of his game, gave it all up, retreating to his home town of Buffalo where he would live under a different name, alone and secluded, until the day he died.  Three of the men in attendance that day, Christopher Joseph, J. Daniel, and Alexander Reid, met for the first time at this funeral.  Some say they were all young music prodigies who learned their craft under the guidance of the now deceased man.  Others believe the three were all long lost brothers, somehow related to the man.  While at the funeral, the men discovered a common interest in music. They put a song together and performed it in a bar after the man's memorial service. It is the only known recording of them so far.  Just recently they formed as a band, calling themselves Sea Snake Vs., and have begun working on new material.  Sea Snake Vs. will play this Saturday, August 6th, on the roof of the Broadway Market at 2:00pm.
