Looking for something new to do on a Thursday night? I know I am. The Bend, on Allen, is now hosting weekly Thursday night garage, punk and rock'n'roll DJ sets. Truth be told, I'm not a fan of the place but cheap drink specials and great music are just enough to persuade me. The collective of DJ's, which rotates weekly, are known as the Plastic Shamans, led by Fucking Hotlights guitarist Ryan. Should be a good time...if your in the area and not in the mood for electronic music or jam-based tunes get your fix a few doors down. Action starts at 11.
