For those not in the know Tony Lorenzo, a talented musician (Sons of Azrael, Ritual Quaratine) and all around good dude, was the victim of a brutal shooting wednesday night on the corner of Bird and Richmond Ave. This is a huge tragedy and disgusting example of just how cruel humanity can be to one another; a truely senseless act of violence. A number of benefits are currently being organized to support Tony and his recovery. Even if you didn't know him I ask that you PLEASE support his cause. Many of us are fellow show-goers or musicians and live in the Elmwood Village where this happened. It could have been any of us. Currently Brian Pattison, from Glorious Times, is organizing a large event. Info on that is coming. Next friday, November 4 there is a show at DBGBs with Lewd Dewdz, Vile Crocodile and a bunch of others at 10pm. $5 donations at that show go towards Tony and his family.
