It seems like it's been some time since Buffalo' indie rock trio the Tins have had time to grace the stage. After playing Steak & Cake's Bidwell Indie 5000 and being personally selected by the Sam Roberts Band to open for them at Art Park late this summer, the guys have been practically locked in the studio to put all of those hard earned Kick Starter donations to good use. In case you were unaware, their campaign to reach $8,000 was an enoumous success(with an extra $800 to boot!), allowing them to record the album they sent out to make from the beginning. They are close to completion on the album, with tracking coming hopefully at the end of month. My $30 donation and I are eagerly awaiting the finished product.
The Screaming Jeans, also playing tonight, have found themselves spending some time in the studio too, currently in the preproduction stages of their first full length album with producer Matt Reilly at Audio Magic. Tonight's show, with additional support from Aircraft, begins tonight at Nietzsches around 10:00pm. Cover is $5.
