Normally I am not a fan of bands covering the Beatles, because well, it's the Beatles. The Beatles will always have a special spot in my heart; they were essentially the first music I listened to and still hold strong twenty-five years later. Thrice has decided to take on "Helter Skelter," one of my all time favorite tunes by the boys from Liverpool. I have never really been a fan of Thrice, but I know they hold quite the popularity in their scene. Thrice has transformed "Helter Skelter" in to a grungy rock track, the song already was a but heavier for the Beatles, but this cover really kicks the song in to fifth gear. So, all you Beatles lovers out there, don't be afraid to give this a listen, you actually might enjoy it.
