Recently ska has been making a comeback in our parts. Leading the march is the Steakouts, a 6-piece Rochester/Buffalo band. Opening for such acts as the Slackers, The Toasters and Deal's Gone Bad, this band is poised to become the next big thing in the local ska scene, driven by ambition and a love for the upbeat. They've already released an EP, The Great Misteak, and have done some touring, putting in the miles and "paying the dues". Their next gig is opening up for ska legends, Mustard Plug, November 12th at Mohawk Place. If your a fan of the genre or just want to hear a fun new band, go to this show. You can check em out at their facebook page here.
