This week was a week for major announcements. We now know that world famous bass producer Rusko and dreamscape electro-pop superstars M83 will be at the Town Ballroom after the turn of the year, in February and May respectively. Are we on the map or what? In the case of Rusko, he’s not even doing another show anywhere near here on this tour. That’s boss. And M83, champions of electronic pop this year! This is just the beginning. There's more on the horizon including some smaller gems like Blockhead in February. It's like knowing what your Christmas gifts are ahead of time! Sorry Mom and Dad I definitely creeped a few times. What’s more is what is coming up in the next few weeks! After this interesting weekend we have to come: Saturnalia, the Winter Solstice Party at DNIPRO, and of course the Christmas Party at Pearl st. And theres the Wu too, if you’re down with that. This weekend is no slouch, and neither are you. Here is what’s really good:

This bi-monthly event has really caught some attention. Checked out the buzz again at the last installment, and I really dig the sophisticated vibe; it's not at all stuffy. This Friday will feature DJs OONASLIM, BRANDON CHASE, GENE LINET, and PAUL KEUNZI. There may not be another chance to see Oonaslim in Buffalo for a bit, so check it out.

This month’s lineup is badass in my opinion. KITZ opens, followed by the versatile SKYDIVER who will surely take everyone for a ride. Then coming from behind, literally, will be SUNGLASSES MIKE and THE OWSKI to slide it in gently with a tag team set. Closing will be Frank SHORT CIRCUIT for the late night crew. As always photography and drink specials. If you’re really bold try the new beer-cocktail menu, like the QCC, its a quick way to find the floor.

What a nice surprise it was to see !!! magically come to Buffalo out of nowhere. They ripped it up on the festival circuit this year just to show people what they are all about, having fun. They’re not really Electronic, but they are definitely Dance! CHK CHK CHK as they are known twist Rock and Funk into Dance music and are at their best in live performance. This is a big-time show in a small spot, so get on it quick if you’re trying to get in. buffaBLOG Holiday Party artists, Bryan Johnson & Family opens.
