Good Old War pulls its name from its band members – Keith GOODwin, Tom ArnOLD, and Daniel SchWARtz. Hailing from Philadelphia, these guys are no newcomers to the music scene. Goodwin and Arnold played guitar and drums, respectively, in another band (Days Away), while Schwartz rocked out with a group called Unlikely Cowboy.
They started up Good Old War back in 2008, and released their first album, Only Way to Be Alone, in November of that year. Since then, they’ve recorded with Anthony Green, Dave Davison of Maps & Atlases, and Kenny Vasoli of The Starting Line, and released a second, self-titled LP in June of 2010.
The band will be at Mohawk Place tonight with singer-songwriter Val Emmich (who has appeared on 30 Rock and Ugly Betty). The show starts at 7.
