A few monthes back I reported that Kyuss Lives! was coming to town. Well, excitement has made way for anticipation as the day is finally upon us. What to expect? Heavy... ala the stoner brand variety; crushing grooves, swirling desert air melodies and riffs for days. Unfortunately Josh Hommes isn't with us this time around. Regardless, the Kyuss dudes still pack a punch and still kill live. Opening the show are riff overlords the Sword and the awesomely named (and awesome sounding) Black Cobra. Shows at Town Ballroom of course and $24 is the admission. Doors at 7pm. Get there early for Black Cobra.
