Has it really been a year since Steak & Cake Records, the little DIY record label that could, first opened up shop?  Well, apparently it has because next month on Saturday, Feb 11th, the Vault will be hosting the 1st year anniversary party for the Potomac based label.  Naturally, music will be supplied by a handful of Steak & Cake contributors, alumni, and friends including Damian Weber, Leah Loefke of Love Scenes, the NYBRKFST, and many more.  Cost of entry to the show will be $10, but keep in mind, that just doesn't get you past the doors.  That $10 also gets you a year book chronicling the first year of the label and a sampler CD of various tracks Steak & Cake had released over the 2011.  In addition, proceeds go towards funding the 2nd annual Bidwell Indie 5000, the first being one of our absolute favorite events of not only the summer, but of all of 2011.  Show is set to begin at 9:00pm.  See you then.
