Tonight: Autopunch Record Release Party

Tonight energetic Buffalo jam quartert and friends of the blog Autopunch celebrate the release of their full length album, Songs, with a record release party at the Tralf.  The outfit had quite a 2011, releasing a few EPs, playing Buffalo Place Rocks The Harbor, and being featured on the Best of Buffalo compilation CD, and is finally set to release this highly anticipated full length.  Autopunch's bass heavy, improv laden funky jam style is roots Western New York jam, and incorporates blues and rock influence to amp their syle up and keep audiences interested.  Those who have heard the album already are raving (including some members of Aqueous), and tonight will be the perfect night to get a look at what the boys have been up to. Opening up will be the experimental, well traveled (playing over 150 shows in the past 3 years), and musically articulate Universe Shark, who have been receiving many kind words at the behest of the Buffalo News, and Cleveland based progressive rock quintet Debussi. Things get started around 8pm, tickets will cost you $16, and you can scoop a discounted CD for $5 at the show.
