Over the summer, my fellow buffaBLOGGER Bill sent me a list of some Buffalo bands that at the time were not on my radar.  One of those bands was Golden Buffet.  I have been enjoying their lo-fi indie folk since, and I finally have a chance to catch them tonight at they play the intimate confines of Allen Street Hardware.  You can download their entire album, which was released this past May, for free at their bandcamp page, so get on that.  Buffalo transplant Jim Colby, who also serves as Golden Buffet's singer and songwriter, returns to the Queen City with his banjo for the performance.  Show starts up around 10 with no cover.  No cover, as you know, means no excuses so make sure to stop in.
