Forget all about the synthesizers, drum machines, and other electronic components that dominate the music world lately and go see the pure goodness of The Low Anthem tonight at Babeville. The Low Anthem is an indie folk band from Rhode Island composed of 5 extremely talented musicians. Everyone in the band plays several different instruments including everything from clarinet, guitar to the saw. They were part of one of my favorite live music events I've ever seen in Buffalo when they opened for The Swell Season at the same venue in 2010. Their music is truly beautiful and it will be a great pleasure to see them perform it live. The show starts at 8 pm, $17.
