Song of the Year alert!  Alright maybe it's only March, but this new Japandroids song, "The House that Heaven Built" from their semi-long awaited sophomore album, is that good.  We sure do love two piece bands here at the blog.  Beach House, Black Keys, Sleigh Bells, even local acts like Settlers and Love Scenes, but something about the exhilarating and near chaotic sound that these two musicians unleash puts them at the top for me.  The band can lazily be lumped into the sometimes vague genre of noise rock, but the emotional PUNCH(I used caps because these songs really do hit you) found in Japandroids' music really sets them apart from the other groups in the genre.  The guitar and drum duo out of Vancouver will release their 2nd album, Celebration Rock, on June 5th.
