Andrew Bird has annexed some new dates to his North American tour, including a show at the beloved Artpark on July 16th. After rambling through various upstate cities last year, including Binghamton and Rochester, Bird has finally decided to make his return to WNY, which will be the first since his Babeville performance in 2009. Bird is supporting his twelfth album, the self-produced and barn-recorded, Break It Yourself, which has continued in the far-reaching and idiosyncratic footsteps of it’s colorful predecessors. The concert will take place at the Mainstage Theatre and gates are to open at 7, music at 8. Opening acts have yet to be determined. Tickets are $32 and will go on sale this Friday, April 27th.
