Bowerbirds, the Americana North Carolina duo made up of couple Beth Tacular and Phil Moore, will be playing the Tralf Music Hall on Thursday, June 14th in support of their new album The Clearing which was released on March 26th and recorded at Bon Iver's Wisconsin studio.  The duo specializes in a more traditional, Appalachian folk, complimented by accordions, vibraphones, and various string and wind instruments, as compared to some of their freak folk counterparts.  It's been a long time since I personally attended a show at the Tralf, but looks like this show will break my slump.  Tickets prices and on sale dates have yet to be announced.
