Remember the Tyrades?

So I'm on another one of those kicks where I'm pulling out albums I haven't listened to in years and what do I stumble upon? The Tyrades most excellent 2003 self-titled album. A straight kick-to-the-teeth, raw animosity punk record from one of Buffalo's fiercest bands ever. Some will argue with me that the Tyrades were a Chicago band, seeing as how they picked up and left for the Windy city just when they were starting to gain some notoriety, but I'll always identify them as rust belt through and through. This is partially because their formative years were spent playing the Mohawk Place, back when Mohawk was still under the radar and a true dive, and also because of their connection to bands like the Baseball Furies, the Stranded, and, funny as it is to say it, bands like Jungle Stud. Jenna, their vocalist, was a wildwoman; a true psycho, disarming and unpredictable, and the rhythm section was as sloppy and conjoined as you could ask from a punk band. I'm not going anywhere with this, except to point out that if you haven't heard them, get online and look up a few tunes, or just listen below.
