Tonight: Bruce Springsteen & the E Street Band

Tonight, Bruce Springsteen & the E Street Band bring their Wrecking Ball Tour to the sold out First Niagara Center. Touring behind his fiercely populist Wrecking Ball album, Springsteen seems to be at the height of his power: selling out arenas worldwide while waging spiritual warfare for the soul of America and holding onto his working class audience while simultaneously enjoying hipster cred (ie regular love from Pitchfork and delivering the keynote address at SXSW). While it's doubtful that the Boss will go for broke the way he did the last time he played Buffalo in November 2009, as that was the last show of that tour and this is not, with Bruce Springsteen you never know. He seems to have a soft spot in his heart for Buffalo, so it could well be one of
those nights. The show starts at 7:30.
