Indie rock’s
latest, greatest duo Cults will be performing tonight at the Town Ballroom.
Initially scheduled to play at the Mohawk, Cults were moved to the Ballroom due
to the high demand in tickets. The band’s self titled debut album was met with much acclaim
last year and by the expected turnout tonight, it appears the hype isn’t
over. Loud bursts, childlike vocals, and a thorough understanding of sixties
pop, Cults are a band of ideas and stray energies, often culminating in
powerful three-minute tunes. Tickets are still available, $20 at the door.
