Nietzsche's plays host to funk super-group Kung Fu this evening.  The band is said to draw most of their inspiration from early 70's fusion-funk greats such as The Headhunters and Weather Report. From what I have heard so far, these guys definitely have a knack for dropping heavy grooves and dance-inspiring tunes (plus a penchant for doing so).  Nietzsches has really been stepping up the past few months as far as bringing in out of town bands, and tonight is no exception.  Make like a Shaolin Monk and be sure to stop down this evening to see Kung Fu in an intimate setting, perfect for both inspired jamming and dance-party atmosphere.

Kung Fu will take the stage at 10pm.  Tickets are $10 in advance and $12 at the door.
