Of all the venues in town, I wouldn't've expected Allen St. Hardware to be the first choice for hosting a Freaker's Ball. But I'd be wrong. I'd be damn wrong, and I'll be the first to admit it. The Moon must've Entered the 7th House or something, because tonight the otherwise-near-straight-laced cafe/bar (245 Allen Street) will in fact be the epicenter. Buffalo's bastion of debauched rock events, Shaken' Stylus, will be putting together an evening of "fast n' rockabilly as fuck Oi-tastic, sexy soul reviving, dance jams" courtesy of the Violators. It is free. It starts at 11pm. The only thing I'm not too sure about with this event is the placement of apostrophes and commas, but it's okay because everything else about it indicates that the world will be ending soon.
