Irvine, California based indie-rock quintet, Young the Giant, will be headlining tonight’s show at the harbor as part of the Thursdays at the Harbor series. The band, mostly known for their smash single, “My Body,” have had an incredible 2011, where they main staged at Lollapalooza, performed at the MTV Video Music Awards, peaked at #42 on the Billboard music charts, and even received some daps on an episode of Glee with their single, “Cough Syrup.” Also on the bill and not to be missed is Toronto’s Bahamas. This indie-folk singer/songwriter’s tender vocals and gentle workings may be awkward to a crowd full of binge-drinking Buffalonians, but you should pay attention to this guy because not only is he good, but Bahamas’ songs will most likely be in the next Jennifer Aniston movie.
