I so wanted to write about the new Grimes video for her single "Genesis."  Have you seen this video?  Its kind of bonkers.  After a few of us caught her at the Pitchfork Festival last month, I have really been into electro pop's newest star, but, despite all that, I still can not quit Japandroids, in particular, their epic single "The House That Heaven Built" from their critically adored Celebration Rock.  They recently released a black and white travelogue/day in the life type video for the tune, showing the Vancouver duo on the road, playing to their rabid fans, and lots and lots of boozing during their star making year.  While the video doesn't have a mace like Grimes' does, it does have some tasty looking beer-in-the-butt chicken (and a narrative for that matter).  Also, keep an eye on the girl at the 3:13 mark.  That's gotta hurt...
