In many ways, the Alan Evans Trio are a throwback. They play the type of groovy soul instrumentals that you just don't here anymore.old school, while the production is refreshingly modern. If you get a thrill out of finding an old Booker T And The MG's LP at your local record store, they should be right up your alley.  Tonight, the group is headed to Nietzsche's for the latest gig on their drop and run tour. Fans of classic soul, and highly danceable grooves would certainly be wise to check it out. Tickets are $15, and the fun starts at 7:00pm
