Lotus has come a long way since their intimate set on the second floor of Pearl Street Brewery back in 2003 (ask me about the gum incident sometime). Since then, the Philly based group has occupied a number of Buffalo venues, from Nietzsche's to the sadly defunct Club Diablo. Their ascent since then has culminated with a co headlining slot with Glitch Mob at the fabled Red Rocks Amphitheater last June, the same spot where band members Luke and Jesse attended their high school graduation. Tonight brings the first of their two night engagement at Town Ballroom, this time flanked by jam wizards Kung Fu, who themselves have been consistently blowing the roof off of Nietzsche's the past few years. Doors are at 8 pm and the show is all ages (meaning 16+ unless your parents feel like getting heady with you).
