October Concerts

So begins my favorite month of the year.  Mild, yet comfortable temperatures, endless marathons of horrible scary films, and pumpkin flavored.....everything are just some of October's many highlights.  As for live music this month, the highlights start early tomorrow with former Dum Dum Girls member Frankie Rose playing a show at Soundlab.  Some long running acts - Ben Folds Five, Fiona Apple, Godspeed You! Black Emperor - also make a welcome visit to Buffalo over the first couple weeks of the month.  And of course Halloween ends the month, where Buffalo just gets kind of weird.  Sprinkle in a few album release shows from the Tins, Nick Gordon, and Aircraft and you have the makings of a solid month of shows.

    SIGNO VINCES first live performance: Saturday, October 27th. at the Nickel City Housing Cooperative--Ol' Wondermoth House, 208 North St. (big mansion on SE corner of North & Elmwood) for their annual Halloween party
