Hailing from LA, the psychedelic folk band, Lord Huron will be making a stop at Mohawk Place tonight to play tunes from their latest album, Lonesome Dreams, which was only released last Tuesday. The album has been described by an NPR article as straddling "the seasons with disarming deftness — sunny enough to distract, sweet enough to comfort." They've been likened to addictive folk groups such as Fleet Foxes and My Morning Jacket.
They will be accompanied by Minneapolis based group Night Moves, whose debut album is being released this Tuesday under Domino Records. They come to Mohawk Place after an eventful summer of having toured with the Dirty Projectors.
Doors open at 8 and tickets are $10
