Brooklyn Indie pop duo Matt & Kim make their way to the Town Ballroom tonight in support of their newly released fourth studio album, Lightning. Keyboardist Matt Oriente and drummer Kim Schifino play a style of electro infused, upbeat pop that is infectiously optimistic. As you might imagine, this high energy, accessible sound leads to some pretty exciting live sets. Bands that sustain this type of enthusiasm throughout an entire set are not to be missed and this show is no exception. Opening the show tonight are Oberhofer, the indie rock project of songwriter Brad Oberhofer who is touring to support his recent release Time Capsules II. Doors open at 7pm for an 8pm start.
